RobUK Posted February 28, 2011 Share Posted February 28, 2011 Hi All After my recent MOT pass I decided to go and fill the old girl up as she has been running on vapour for a while (with the odd 5litre being put in) With the fuel level being low (orange light on) I hadn't know if the level indicator was working, I have now put 40-50 litres of Shell VPower but the level indicator is still sitting on "empty" but the orange light is off... Any advise on where to start/common faults? Not sure if I should start with the tank or the dash?? Thanks Rob Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The float switch seemed to have gotten caught on the fuel tank baffle which was essentially holding the level indicator down... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
