You can all probably guess what im getting at, putting a set of forge gte pistons in my ge once ive finished the turbo conversion. Nic Posted February 11, 2011 Share Posted February 11, 2011 2JZ-GTE pistons will fit a 2JZ-GE engine. The pistons are Ø86mm x 86mm stroke on both engines. The GTE pistons will lower the compression on a GE motor, although not sure what the squish area will be like using them with the GE head. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Chris Wilson Posted February 12, 2011 Share Posted February 12, 2011 The crank and rods are more than just dimensionally the same, they are exactly the same, same part numbers. If you are buying new pistons it would be madness to put them in old bores,, rebore it first over size, which is 86.5 mm or 87 mm depending on piston make and availability.
