Suprab1
I have the front of the Evo at the moment & when i took off the intercooler i noticed the pipes are full of gunk. Will i be best to strip all the pipes off back to the throttle body & clean out with brake cleaner? I know the car is 9 year old now but is this normal? Swampy442
Looks like oil, and depending on how long the pipes have been on and how the breather is set up, it might just have accumulated over the years. Best to clean all the pipes and intercooler out.

Swampy442
A good degreaser, white spirit, turps etc. Is the car standard?
Suprab1
More or less, it just has a cat back, HKS induction kit, Mishimoto rad & HKS ssqv bov. I suppose petrol will clean it?
