What's that blob on me dash, like?

It senses direct sunlight on the windscreen and uses it to adjust the air conditioning - and it works too. I went into a tunnel in France and the aircon fan dropped two speeds almost immediately, and responded again on exiting the tunnel, cranking the fan speed back up again.

Where's my prize :)

Should point out that not everyone will have the tweeter behind that grill - only UK and J spec GZ models. Everyone else should only have the four speaker system fitted as standard.

Actually ALL Supra's have the tweeters. The only difference with the audio is on JDM GZ models which have a bigger amp and a sub in the boot. Not even the almighty UK spec got that!

Just to be awkward on this one lads, I have the top spec 7 speaker system in my SZ, well I did have until I started modding the sound system.

I think you'll find it was an option on any of the JDM models.

Yes, you are correct. Standard on all GZ's, but an option for all other models. :)

As for the dome, blob, solar sensor... Anyone know exactly what it does?

Prize for the first one to get it right :D

Does it control whether hot or cold air gets blown onto the windshield, in cold temps, depending on whether the car is in sunshine or not. There is a temp sensor in the dash which I presume is the main control for the Climate Control settings.
