robin Posted October 23, 2010 Share Posted October 23, 2010 Lately when I start the car and the engine is stone cold the power is very poor and I can find myself with the throttle half depressed and the first turbo making 0.5 bar and whistling away happily while I am loosing speed on a gentle slope at 30mph. This cant be right and even a month or so ago it had no trouble climbing the same slope when cold with barely any peddle. I know it is low power rather then a slipping box as the revs drop when it does this. Within about a mile or as soon as the temp gauge has moved from the bottom the throttle is back to it's normal responsive self and even a slight amount of peddle results in a nice healthy reaction. Throughout any of this there is no smoke, no missing and no error codes. Anyone have any ideas on what the cause maybe or where I should start looking?
