Without going into in detail, elephant are complete muppets and due to their complete incompetence I ended up paying out of my own pocket after an accident. I could have easily won if I had taken them to court but it would have taken far too long and I needed to get the car fixed andon the road ASAP... Elephant are cheap for a reason - they don't cover 'like-for-like' replacement, they can only list 6 modifications to any car (despite what they may say over the phone), they do not insure a car with a 'dump valve', they charge up to 30% on top of the policy to pay per month, I could go on..... At the moment I'm with A-Plan special schemes on a VERY good policy for less than £800 (No claims, no points, 10 yrs+ driving license, 10yrs+ no claims). I'll certainly be giving Sky a call when it comes for renewal! I know a number of the younger guys here have managed to get insured with Elephant, tesco, L&V, etc, but certainly give Sky a shot Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
