Kirk
Ive seen 11:5.1 CR turbo motors boosted at 26lbs but that was on race fuel for ovious reasons. It isnt an uncommon thing and it probly is possible but only using good fuel.
Andy Blyth
The SEAT Leon 2.0 TFSI will happily run 22psi boost at 10.5:1 compression ratio (REVO stage 1) with V-power. Sorry.
dude
Depends on lots of things, rally cars are running hi comp turbo engines now. With loads of overlap on the cams will prob be fine

jagman
Direct injection cars run this all the time , the high CR helps off boost performance , but on non DI head , read major bucks to convert !! DI is the future !!
sams
i wont tell him that suppose it best not to, at 9psi i would thought the engine would hold up, they have put twin intercooler and extra coolers to keep temps down preventing pre det
