devan
Just been checking out the Supra's headlight arrangement, as ive ordered some HID's. I have noticed that when you flash the headlights, the main beam AND the dipped beams come on. Surely flashing the HID's which i will be putting in my dipped beams will damage them as they are not fully warmed up within the short amount of time that they are on? Anybody had any issues with this? Cheers, Ash.
devan
Just found this: Question: What about using HIDs with alarms that flash the headlights? Answer: General concensus is that flashing your HIDs, alarms flashing your HIDs, turning your HIDs on and off in short periods reduces bulb life and damages your ballast. According to research, turning HIDs on and off more than 3 times per hour reduces bulb life.
