This price is cheap fo real if the parts are good. Back in the days I would never do this for less than 8k euros. Even in my car it run me almost 7k, after getting all the correct parts. I sold just the box 2 months ago for 3k euros, and what Dude is offering includes the whole nine yards and fitted. Good job John.

The problem is what we are now having to pay for the smashed cars in Japan, I would love to be able to offer these fitted for £2K but those days are gone, im looking for boxes in Japan on the auctions and they want up to £2K just for a secondhand box, these conversions take away are about £3-£3200 so if you think the balance to fit it is expensive go buy a tunnell panel gear oil and diff oil and have a go your self.

It must give you a clue when I say I CANNOT afford to sell this without fitting, sorry guys but as these cars get older and more bits break I can see the parts contnuing to rise.

Or... buy my SZ-R with a V161 box for £4750!

Sorry dude, dont mean to be muscling in on your for sale thread.

Maybe I should consider breaking my car...

Your not wrong, im looking for a 6 spd NA for a project, a little bit cheaper than yours (pm me if you want and we may be able to come to a deal) one drawback is that you have a auto ratio diff, no good for a road car IMO or even a drag car(UK ratio is optimum) but ok for a track day car, so you are looking at circa £400 for the diff and more for a prop too as yours will prob have an A type diff.

Ive got an AO2B diff, so that will be an A type. This is my every day car (when Im not driving the gf's Arosa), and I find it absolutely fine.

I wouldnt really be able to take much less than its at just now, Im in no rush to sell and am still treating her to new bits (brake pads last week, new cat-back exhaust going on next week, looking for new wheels) as Im still really fond of the car.

I dont think my price is bad, considering 6-speed conversions go for nearly £4K, and you get a very tidy NA into the bargain. Just a shame NA prices are in the toilet just now!

Good luck with the sale dude, if you fancy doing something closer to my sale price just PM!
