CJ
Are these people normally employed by stores? Work freelance? How do they get "qualified"? Or is it more of a case of being artistic? A friend was looking for info so I thought I'd ask.
Lbm
Ah, the *old friend was asking* get out I'm sure there are retail courses at college these days, probably even degrees as a Bespoke window furnishing technician.
CJ
Apparently, it is now called "visual merchandising".

supramkivcork
I worked in Zara for about 3 years. Window dressers we had were mostly store merchandisers who wanted to get out on the road rather than being stuck in the same shop the whole time. There was no particular "qualification", just an eye for fashion and display.

Charlotte
I believe you have to go through a similar route to a fashion type degree/career. You didn't tell me you had an eye for fashion Col?
