Guest KSTUNING
Is there much hp gain in changing the 2jz-gte intake? My power goal is somewhere around 6-700 hp... Any flow maps on this? thanks!

Guest KSTUNING
But where would you be with an aftermarket intake? 1100hp?
Terminator
Certainly a 3.4 with could use an uprated plenum. The stock plenum would certainly hold it back. Probably not much point, if goals are below 600 bhp. However for higher power with bigger duration cams 280s+ and higher lift, you need a well balanced and high flow plenum to make the potential translate into actual power. JamieP
I gained 40bhp when my greddy intake was fitted with no other mods and same boost, there is a dyno sheet showing the difference kicking about in my project thread somewhere.
