I wouldn't be too concerned. I would be amazed if it was found that he clocked every car he sold. Mind you, looking at his mark up, I would assume you paid a lot more than he did when he bought it.

As an aside, how much did you pay for the NA?

It was cheap bud , less than 3k

Hey CJ ,

How's the weather over there ? I lived in Malia many years ago ........ I do miss it !

It is still OK here. Some sunny days and a few rainy ones. It is colder now but still warm enough to wear shorts around the house most days. :)

Doh! that will be me then!! got it a few weeks ago. But didnt realise that the fuel lines were corroded and fuel was pissing out onto the exhaust (which could have killed me) & its just cost me loads to fix it.

I know what your all thinking - should have spotted it but I just wanted a Supra so bad.

The guy (Paul) he sells loads of them - could it just have been a typo with the mileage?

But you know what'll happen, a poor unsuspecting new member will turn up with his shiny black aero. Only then will he realise what's happened. :(

I'm sure the original seller can contact trading standards and report him through them. Itn wouldn't be much use one of us doing it as the only evidence we have is the original advert on Pistonheads. the original seller will have personal knowledge of the car and can categorically state as FACT that the mileage has been tampered with.

Doh! that will be me than - & it gets worse the fuel lines were corroded & its just cost me loads to fix it.

Maybe I wont let my heart buy my cars in future.

:( well at least it didn't cost the earth even at the slightly inflated price from the dealer and even with those miles it could well be relatively trouble free (those pipes have corroded on a few cars of various mileages/age) for some time.

Just wait a few more months until you can get the roof off and then just get out there and enjoy the car regardless :)
