Jamesy W
Upgrade the brake pads, hoses and fluid. Spend the rest on hookers and or petrol.
Scott
Do you have UK brakes? If so then go for a nice exhaust, if not then get them.
Geo
Upgrade the brake pads, hoses and fluid. Spend the rest on hookers and or petrol. Or he could give you the cash and you can buy some gauges from the UK that WILL arrive, ha ha. Fuel Filter(Genuine Toyota) O2 Sensor(seem to be causing alot of problems these days) coil packs Im sure some of the guys will have some more idea's
Nic
so booked my supra in for a service, and i have some spare cash left over around 400ish and i was wondering with out anything major that would take time what mod would be good maybe a new air filter/induction or maybe some performance mod like exhaust or something. thanks It may sound boring, but to get the best performance out of the car I would spend the money on good quality service parts. A well serviced car, with good brakes, suspension, tyres, geometry, etc. will be a much nicer car to drive, will have more performance, handle better, stop better and be safer compared to a tired 16 year old car with an aftermarket exhaust and induction kit on it. I'd suggest: Quality set of brake pads front and rear (TRD/Endless, etc.) - £180+ Stainless steel braided brake lines (Goodridge/TRD/Endless, etc.) - £60+ Good quality brake fluid (TRD/Motul, etc.) New OEM oxygen sensors x 2 - circa. £200 - if these haven't been changed for a few years, fitting new O2 sensors will give you more performance gains on an NA per £ compared to any aftermarket 'performance' part. They'll also save you a load on fuel bills. Do you have UK brakes? Looks like the car has OEM 16's on pics, so will be the smaller brakes. Fuel Filter(Genuine Toyota) O2 Sensor(seem to be causing alot of problems these days) coil packs It's an NA so no coil packs, a new distributor cap and rotor arm could be worth fitting. Guest dabadom
thanks for the tips guys. think it might have to be brakes next then
Scott
Be warned though, as Nic pointed out, if you fancy the big brake kit you will need to get bigger wheels. The UK's fit nicely That could be a nice purchase, UK wheels & alignment.
