Get the stockers polished mate. If I could have bought the stockers polished like they do in the states I so would have put them on mine.

 

You can get them from US, I got a quote from a dealer this time last year - rims, centre covers inc. shipping £1k

Actually its not a chrome lip, its laquer on it.

 

Are you going to get any peel starting from where you used the Wet & Dry ?

 

I HOPE NOT but, just thinking that you prolly can't just laquer that small section only ?

Its only on the outside of the rim, right on the lip. It was a bugger to remove with the polishing mop, I dont think it'll come off that easy. I will do more investigation tho. I might just spray over the little areas I did to be safe. I'll speak to my m8 about it.

The repaired section is easy enough to repair with the mop and autosol if problems to arise. Im not overly concerned at this point in time
