Jamesy
What brakes do you have? UK's etc. Must make sure that the wheel/offset will clear them. J-specs wont be a problem, however. Jspec for my sins lol

AdzC
or maybe with the Atec2 wheels - diamond cut? they do a 8.5" for the fronts with a 35 offset and a 9.5" rear with 35 offset... http://www.ultralitewheels.com/atec-2.htm I saw those wheels at JapShopwhen I went down there and they look awesome and thought they would really suit the Supra. Give them a call as they are main distributors for Ultrailite and see what they can do for you. I spoke to Paul when I dealt with them. Jamesy
Jade's are out...im thinking between Nurburgrings and GTR's or *** would 9.5" GTR's all round look pretty cool? have just got a good quote for them...or do the rears need to be wider? ***
AdzC
I like the Nurburgrings mate. There are a couple of people running them and seem to suit the car really well. IMO the GTRs look like they should be on a Skyline or similar car and don't really flow with the Supra.
Jamesy
thanx mate - there is a NEW front runner... i give you my top of the list now... jevansio
They would need archwork IMHO

Jamesy
right thats it i love these wheels......my next question is whats best COLOUR to go with my silver car? i like the darker one on the first pic beow......? http://img76.imageshack.us/img76/382/dsc00029mf0.jpg http://www.subydude.com/subyslideshow/d/65928-1/3228872441_7879a704ce_b.jpg
pistonbroke
Good choice mate. Colour wise, the gunmetal ones get my vote. As for the width, I think you should go for staggered fitment, and not the same size all round. The supra is complimented by it's big rear end, and a set of wider rears exaggerate this fact. You can use the rare rims site to upload a pic of your supe from the side on, then virtually fit the grids to see what you think. http://www.rarerims.co.uk/alloys_sub2.asp?id=42&intPage=2 I'd go for 18x9.5 front with 35 offset and 18x10 rears with 30. You may need to fettle the arches, but it'll look sweet EDIT - oh, and on the rears, go for some mad tyre like 255, to get a crazy stretched look. pistonbroke
The gunmetal ones are in that link I sent you, so they defo do it. 255 tyres will give a similar look to the pics you posted of the evos and scoobys. get 9.5 fronts then, but you'll have to go higher on the offset too to compensate for the width. I would really suggest you keep it staggered though mate. I remember reading somewhere once about staggered fitment cars, and that they are designed to promote understeer on the front making it safer to drive. (yes I know some NA supes didn't have staggered fitment as standard, but we're talking about a full BPU TT here)
Jamesy
thanx mate...i am learning about offset (smaller number more they stick out) but i dont get the compensation for width bit lol. i think 18x9.5 fronts and 18.10 rears would look great. what offset would that need mate? and with 255 tyres rear what size fronts would work well? pistonbroke
Ok, I found this a while ago while I was wheel shopping http://www.morfed.net/wheel-offset-calculator/ You can put in the offset of your current wheels, then put in the offset of the new wheels (including witdth difference), it'll then tell you how much more proud the rim will be from the arch. The width varies the offset, because the offset is a measurement from the hub face of the wheel, the wider the wheel, the higher the offset for the same out edge measurement. Hard to explain in words, (probably even harder to understand), but play around with that link and you'll soom get it. For an 8.5" rim with 35 offset, moving up to a 9.5" wheel, to keep the same outer edge, you need a 48 offset. Jamesy
lol - cheers mate, clear as mud i have just emailed them to get a quote on 18x9.5 front with 35 offset and 18x10 rears with 30 offset, including 235 tyres front and 255 tyres rear...... will the arches need rolling i guess.
