Iam trying to install Mcafee internet security suite (2005 ver7.0) but when installed I cant access the internet. (iam on broadband) Any ideas ???

This product causes more trouble than it's worth. 3 out of ten of my support calls are down to this piece of crap at the moment!

Are you signing in every time you boot your pc, you need to sign in at the mcafee security centre every time, click on the mcafee box on the task bar of its red your signed in if its black your not

You will need to go into the Mcafee task bar and set you preferences or perimeters up. i.e. tell the computer program which programmes you want to allow access to the computer/internet. This should be one of the options on the Mcafee program, if you want access to the internet you will have to teach it. i.e. ask it to always allow internet access. There should be a tickable box to override and not ask to show again.

I must say that Norton's internet securities is an easier program to control. I feel that they have made Mcafee's over complicated. Hope this helps.
