Pig
I dont know if any of you have heard of the MOTOAIR jackets. I bought one as am new to biking and wanted to be as safe as possible. Today i dropped the bike (at manovering speed) and rolled away from the bike separating myself from the bike (meaning the jacket should have gone off) but it didnt. Am really pissed off as if this was a proper accident wouldn't it have gone off! Will be speaking to the company on monday and will let you know how i get on. SUPRALOOPY
Wooahhh thats not good. Is it speed sensitive as in if you just drop the bike at the lights you save a jacket going off in your face? I hope you ok and just sell the fucking bike they are too dangerous!!!

I hope you ok and just sell the $#@!ing bike they are too dangerous!!! I was going no miles an hour just turning round on a slope, silly mistake. Wasnt feeling happy on the bike today. I cant see it being speed sensitive as it take 7 stone force to seperate the jacket from the bike and i did that whilst doing my James bond "look like a twat" roll away from the back Lol, not heard of one of them before. Stuff wearing one of them, bet you look a right plank:d flipflops and shorts are a good look mate:d How can you look like a plank with a massive MOTOAIR logo on the back of your jacket Being new to biking and teaching myself to wheelie its only a matter of time so figured I should play it safe. Yeah i have heard of them ,they are meant to be good. Let us know how you get on as a few mates of mine wanted to get one. Will do, I have read reports of them saving lives. The trouble is, if it doesnt inflate then there is NO back protection at all EDIT: Brilliant video EDITx2: http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/airbag-jacket/motorcycle-airbag-jacket.htm and http://www.wairbag.com/newfiles/page6.html How it works
Digsy
Are these the ones where you attach yourself to the bike with a ripcord that sets the jacket off when you fall off the bike?

far
that guy sitting on his handle bars in the ace cafe video is nuts! By the way - theoretically the jacket should go off irrespective of speed, if you are sat in traffic and someone shunts you doing 50mph surely that should still constitute an inflation! Call them mate and quote the sales of goods act
