You know, you could just check:

1) the emissions diagram stuck to the underside of the bonnet

2) the tyre pressures note stuck to the inside of the drivers' door shut

3) the note on the passenger sun visor

 

If they are in Japanese, you have a J-Spec :D

its jap alright, to be 100% just give your local dealer the chassis number or look at the interior sun visors pull them down and there either in jap or english ?

 

transmission ?

 

6 speed manual, twin turbo.. Cant say ive ever noticed the visors. Its in the garage at moment, so cant look

Seems JDM car, No scoop and seats seem non leather too front head lamps may be plastic too! hard to tell

As I understand UK/Euro/US and the Japspec got the same 0-60 time.

 

I think RedM was baiting the J-Spec owners... trying to wind them up.

 

Officially they have the same 0-60, although 'officially' the J-Specs only have 280bhp. In reality they have pretty much the same 320bhp as the US/Euro specs.

 

J-Specs have more low-down torque, but a little less higher up. Or something.

Yep, and the turbos spools up a little bit faster then the UK/EU/US spec....I am driving a japspec we imported from UK right now (gonna deliver it to a customer soon), and it's impossible to drive without boost :) ....
