With all the missing leather, plastic headlights, smaller brakes, missing coolers etc they're probably lighter though
Ian C
You know, you could just check: 1) the emissions diagram stuck to the underside of the bonnet 2) the tyre pressures note stuck to the inside of the drivers' door shut 3) the note on the passenger sun visor If they are in Japanese, you have a J-Spec -Ian

Samurai446
All sorted. It's a J-spec, searched the car for clues. Underside of lid on centre console box has jap instructions in it. Cheers guys.

Menghini
Do you know any UK Supra owners. Race them. I hear J-specs are slower! As I understand UK/Euro/US and the Japspec got the same 0-60 time.
carl0s
As I understand UK/Euro/US and the Japspec got the same 0-60 time. I think RedM was baiting the J-Spec owners... trying to wind them up. Officially they have the same 0-60, although 'officially' the J-Specs only have 280bhp. In reality they have pretty much the same 320bhp as the US/Euro specs. J-Specs have more low-down torque, but a little less higher up. Or something.

Yep, and the turbos spools up a little bit faster then the UK/EU/US spec....I am driving a japspec we imported from UK right now (gonna deliver it to a customer soon), and it's impossible to drive without boost ....
