They have been on the car for 5yrs now with 3 of them on glass and 1 on the standard rubber lower lip, on of the front bumper. I'm going to try the hairdryer on them but, wondered if anyone had any other tips ? Also, what can you use to remove any residual adhesive ? Thanks! James Posted June 5, 2009 Share Posted June 5, 2009 The best stuff to use to remove the residue from the stickers is Servisol. They have "Label Remover 130" but - in the past - I've used the "Super 10" switch cleaner. peter richards Posted June 5, 2009 Share Posted June 5, 2009 my procedure for this is heat gun plastic scraper just to lift an edge glue / tar remover and off they should come , but also it might now leave the area thats been covered by the sticker a slight shade different to the rest as its been protected from the elements , so might need a bit of machining to blend in then apply a good sealant/wax for protection Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
