Guest BenGriff
Hi having just joined, im not all that clued up on Supras yet. It seems in the project section that alot of people are doing single turbo conversions to their supras, is this better than the twin turbo? does it give more performance? and if so, how much more? and why does it give more? Thanks, Ben
Matt H
You're best doing your research. What you're asking is a vast question. You choice a single turbo for more power. As for the size / type of turbo, it depends on what you want, and that is a limitless question. It all boils down to the fact that there arn't after market twin sequential kits on the market, at least for the supra. So unless you are looking for 1000bhp, you might as well have a single one. Guest BenGriff
So, if your going for more power, an N/A with single turbo conversion is a better option than the TT? sorry if these seem like stupid questions, but i am new to the supra scene and am just trying to improve my knowledge on them, so that when the time comes for me to look at getting one, i know what is what. lol

The Non-turbo has a slightly different engine and different gearbox. Given this, you can add a turbo but you should not expect to get the same results as from the TT engine unless you are looking to throw alot of money at it and change the gearbox for anything above 400hp ish. James
Not of complete help but, with regards to what you're asking in your last post, check this thread:- http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=173317 I asked about NA-T and TT-T to see how it differs etc. In the end it's all preference and intentions
