Another "be careful out there" post

If anyone saw Rob Oldham's piccies of his rolled Supra, every panel is shafted but the passenger safety cell is unbelievably intact. Also I've seen a 200SX that hit a tree head on at 60mph, the front numberplate was about 6" away from the firewall, and the drivers side wheel was touching the drivers' door, but the safety cell was more or less intact - some roof tenting above the driver. Amazingly tough, the guy suffered more damage off the airbag than anything else (though of course the airbag saved his life in breaking his nose :) )

So for that so be compromised as badly as in that picture, the impact must have been terrible - and probably at window height :(

nasty.

makes you think how much these beasts can bite back.

Never been in a nasty accident myself, but have been present when others bought the farm. Not nice. A momentary display of stupidity and 'showing off' can easily end up in tears (or wheelchairs)

RIP

Well said, very sad, heart goes out to the family.

I know, it sounds like a line from that TV series with American Police chases presented by that stupid prissy bloke with the bottled tan and every strand of hair dyed on an individual basis!

How incensitive can they get the poor bloke has lost his life...and they make a big thing out of his reg number...

Rest in Peace Comrade...heart goes out to his family too!
