Totally different. A standard Side Mounted Inter Cooler, SMIC, will be good for 500 bhp. Chris Wilsons SMIC has a rep for up to 700 bhp. See Wez for that. You'll waste money trying to tune the N/A. You don't need FMIC for TT. Toyota did a great job in the first place, drop the TT straight in with a standard SMIC.

He hit the very top of my windscreen with his head, his body didn't seem to even get touched and the windscreen was fine. It was hilarious though, the image of his face all twisted up and surprised-looking mashed up against the glass will stay with me for a long time

AndyT
oooops, [GRIN][/GRIN] Cheers for that, is it the same radiator in the n/a as the tt then? Engine etc. is the same. The difference, obviously the turbos plus the electonics needed to control the various aspects of turbocharging. Toyota would not build two different engines for the same purpose. The engine was built to take near on 700 bhp without upgrading the internals. So basically it's understressed. A lot. Like American muscle. More refined and economical though. (Spelling's not bad by the way.) Many, many people here have FMIC's. Me, I'll stick to SMIC and put a grid in front so nobody can see in front anyway. This is the best. Easy fit too. Mesh Of course, you can do it from Halfords for less than half the price. Doesn't look or last as nice though. Convert??? In real world time the NA is a very good buy. No hassle with boost etc., torquey and good gandling. Looks the dogs too. In a B road tussle there is very little gain with the TT. Especially if the git knows the road.
