Watched the grammys recently and they are a rather grand affair and all rather posh.... then you get the brits with some half arsed presenting and a cardboard cutout caravan. Do we actually take anything seriously? The olympics is another example we will have to endure. Who will make an arse of themselves..? what hideous collaboration will they put together!? Ting Tings and Estelle were terrible... Estelle was 'out' for the first minute of the bit she sung. The light flickering on Duffys head - probably a blessing, as she seems to be dead behind the eyes. Flowers and 'scary woman' cutting into the Pet Shop Boys with a scrawk! Lending some much needed cool? erm... Chris Lowe's unfortunate 20ft high double chin 'cut out' thing. The entire thing was laughable, but it just wouldn't be the Brits if it was all polished and MTV'ish Shocking to see Annie Lennox missed off the best female vocalist short list, and no mention of Phil Collins!?
