bigbloodyturbo
I'm planning on converting my front jspec calipers to 95' LS400 calipers and 315mm discs, however I dont know where to get performance pads for them. When I search the net all that comes up is EBC which seem to have mixed reviews. Can anyone recommend a manufacturer or know of any sources for some decent pads for a 95+ LS400? garethr
The choice may be limited. I've seen Lucas pads recommended for the LS 4-pots by Soarer owners in Australia. No idea where you'd buy them, although I bought some discs and pads (for a completely different car) from Brakes International a few years ago, and they sent Lucas pads. You can also buy Endless and Porterfield pads for the UCF20 LS. And Mintex. And Lexus/Toyota, of course. Chris Wilson
If you can e-mail me a pad outline with dimensions I'll see what I can do.

Cheers for the reply, endless and porterfield are atleast a few names I can try googling, I seem to remember porterfield as having a good reputation as far as brakes go. Thanks Chris, i'm ordering the discs through the week so I'll see if I can get hold of a set of cheap pads to take some dimensions off. If i can get them i'll email it to the address in your sig.
