The Raven
Before you jump up and down let me explain. I took the keys from the Mrs A class and left them on the seat, Stupid car has some kind of system where it locks itself if the key is out for a certain time. Given i had no spare set i went and got a coat hanger. Having seen this before on movies and tv shows i gave it a go. If it wasnt for the cat 1 and i knew how to hot wire i would have had the car away in less 5 minutes. Russ 1 Merc

SteveR
Maybe not the best place to post such info; this bit especially as it's fully open to public view.

SteveR
What like any would be car thief has never seen that done? Call the AA out with the keys stuck in it and see what happens You usually have to own a particular car, to persuade the AA to break into it for you. I certainly didn't know A Class Merc were that easy to break into, I know my first car was, but had hoped vehicle security had moved on somewhat since the 80s. If I didn't know, it's more than possible that there are others out there, less upright than myself, who might read your description and decide to give it a go. Ahhhhhh what do I care? I don't own an A Class Merc so I don't need to worry too much. You do, however.

SteveR
I see your point hence i have edited it Fair play. I wasn't having a pop, but if I owned an A Class, I'd be a bit cheesed off seeing their security shortcomings discussed like that. More worrying is i looked over at the supra and thought the same thing:( You're forgetting the incredible security levels and measures that are standard on all Supras.
