Ian Hayward
Hi All, I not long ago bought some D2 8pot (the larger of the two available) front brakes for the supra, but unfortunately my MOT is due (last week) and iv realised that my tax is due at the end of the month and I need new pads already. Please can anyone help me identify what pads I can get fairly quick to replace these? Im not after anything amazing as im looking to sell the car very soon Cheers Ian
Gaz Walker
If they are a copy of a pad from Endless/AP/Brembo etc chances are I can get Endless to supply them. But I'd need a drawing around the pad and reference sizes emailed/faxed to me if poss? Gaz.
Chris Wilson
They *MAY* be 6 pot AP backing size, e-mail me an outline with sizes shown, or a link to dimensioned drawings. I have new and used in stock.
Ian Hayward
Thanks for the reply. Apparently they are a take off the AP Racing pads, but im not sure which ones they are. I have it written down somewhere at home if I havent thrown the paper away :-(

Ian Hayward
Cheers Jamie. I thought you had the same kit as me from what I remember. Have you not needed to change your pads yet?
Ian Hayward
Iv found out that the AP racing part number is CP3894 D46. What is a good pad that will work but isnt expensive as hell? Cheers

Chris Wilson
I will have to check later, but I am 90% sure I have some perfectly usable pads in Performance Friction 01 compound. New they'd be well over 280 a set, used £78 plus 5.80 insured P&P. I have new as well....
Gaz Walker
New Endless ones are £125 for SSS and £210 for CCX, for reference
