When I put my foot down a bit, about half WOT above 2000 revs I get what I can only discribe as the sound of all the valves in the engine rattling and knocking. As soon as I ease off, the sound goes, I havnt pushed it towards WOT, too scared, its very hard to pin point because it only does it on load, reving it parked up no problems. Any help or relevant suggestions greatly appreciated. Forgot to mention I have done a pritty lengthy search and there didnt seem to be anything the same. Bob. Chris Wilson Posted October 8, 2008 Share Posted October 8, 2008 Sometimes a blowing exhaust manifold gasket can sound very like a rattle.
