LED Door lights

Hey

my Supra is 1993 JSpec

If I wanted led door lights like on a Facelift Supra, how do you wire them up

Might as well do while I am changing the Front Speakers

Friends Facelift Supra has LEDs on the Door where the latch is, I assume this is standard with all facelifts?

It makes the car look real american , looks cool when he opens the door with the BLUE Led's

Its just a strip of about 6 -8 LED's, running the contour of the door

are you guys talking about the little ring around the door lock? if so i have it on my pre facelift, it glows green when you pull the door handle.

that's what I thought as I have them on my pre-facelift (are these standard?)

But I've never seen the inner door ones, not a fan tbh. :)

there was a thread about it a couple of weeks ago, dont think they were standard, bit of hit and miss with them, some have them some dont, guess i was lucky!

The leds on the edge of the door i'm assuming could be wired to the green lock surround then, if not wired in then atleast it could switch a relay for the led strip.

They were an option on all supras. You can buy similar stick on LED strips from Halfords or ebay. Wire them to the interior light circuit so they come on when the door is open.

Thats what I was thinking but how do you Wire them to the interior light circuit?
