Westy
you can buy a conversion kits that let you run 100% ethanol or 100% petrol or any mix in between. http://www.bioperformanceuk.com/index.php the kit fits between the injector plugs and ECU and adjusts the air/fuel mixture to give the best performance. The kits are about £500 or so.

Wez
These installation tips are a little worrying. http://www.bioperformanceuk.com/bioethanol_install.php Its a box that sits between the ECU and injectors but there is no other connections that I can see that show AFR etc, how does it know what the fuel mix is
Westy
it says the converison uses the lambda probe to know what the air/fuel mix is. i thought it was a mkiv on the site when i found it
Wez
Its a bit vague, most cars come with a narrow band lambda sensor which is only good for measuring stoich, the MKIV is a prime example, if you want to measure anything above that then you need a wide band sensor. The installation diagrams do not mention any hook in for either.
