Includes roof off on motorway, around town, in traffic, dual carraigeway etc. Very pleased with this as it will easily do over the 30 if I could be bothered. I thought that my tank was leaking it disapeared that quickly. But ten on the other side I got from Newcastle to Manchester on £40 driving normally. Both runs on approx £1.18 a litre. I just replaced my O2 sensor the other week and wouldn`t say it improved my MPG by much but I don`t have idle speed issues now though. danhicks22 Posted September 30, 2008 Share Posted September 30, 2008 At weekends (from Cheltenham to Watford and back and a bit of driving around) I average about 300 miles (480kms) to most of a full tank (I think it usually works out about 24.5mpg) in a J-spec TT. To and from work during the week (about 8 miles each way) and just to shops etc. I get about 18mpg. Those calculations are based on a little bit of overlap though. Properly combined I probably get about 21-22. My o2 sensor is playing up though and she seems to be a bit more thirsty than usual... Come to think of it, i picked my car up from AFR this morning, filled up with £40.00 of petrol @ £1.19.9 a litre, filled up to just above half. I then drove home 65 miles and then drove to and from MOD Boscombe down in Wiltshire (near Salisbury) and that was 37 miles each way. Im now just above a quarter of a tank.
