bennyc45
I know there have been a few threads on this before so please excuse another one. Axle
Id source one from Nic (Import pimp) on here rather then go for a cheapo on Egay. Why you would want to stick somthing cheap on a Supra TT i dont know, specially when it comes to somthing as important as cooling the turbo(s). You get what you pay for, just remember that. bigbloodyturbo
Dont see a problem with ebay intercoolers on a bpu TT, infact i'm in the process of doing so now. might not be as efficient as HKS or greddy intercoolers but i'm not to worried about a psi or two of pressure drop and my cooler is quite big with plenty of mass so i'm not overly worried about heatsoak either. bennyc45
If that is the case the question asnwered. I understand you get what you pay for but was unaware if there were many differences between a Branded name intercooler and non branded.

You do get a better end tank design, more efficient cooling and a better fit with some of the named units, have a read of this its been discussed many times For BPU a good condition side mount is more than enough, you could mesh the bumper http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=144847&highlight=xspower

A cheapo intercooler may look the same as a branded intercooler, but there will be a big difference in terms of efficiency. The GReddy Spec LS would be the cheapest FMIC I'd recommend. http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=161451
