thought mine might fail mot on rear plate its perfectly readable but is the jspec size with smaller letters and no makers postcode etc straight though no probs and is a very strict mot centre

 

another thing when i've seen uk lettering and spacing on a rear plate on a soop with letters all on one line why is there so much space above and below the letters ? not normaly that much on other cars

Ha, that's true, but also the fact that the Old Bill can and will give you a ticket if your plates cannot be read by there gizmo machine :eyebrows: personally I think its a good move as if plates are illegal and the boys in blue are going to nick people with them fitted stopping the source of the illegal plates is the answer. For too long suppliers have been making money by supplying plates they know are illegal and not facing any prosecution:rolleyes:
