DaveSupTT
Still got the Supra of course, but due to that being off the road, and what with petrol prices on the increase, resulting in me spending £65 a week on fuel, I have decided to get a little runabout to get me to and from wrok etc!!! So here is my lovely 1994 Metro 1.1 Nightfire SPECIAL! hahahaha Its had 2 previous lady owners, come with 11 month MOT, 40,442 miles and I got her for £300 Here it is
michael
Nicely done, I've always admired the self lowering suspension on these Rare to see one that hasn't rotted to dust.
DaveSupTT
there is actually a little bit of rust on the back arches, but its not to bad! (you cant tell from the pic) No rust underneith the car at all. Self lowering suspension?
j_jza80
Hydrospastic, I mean hydro elastic suspension. It was way ahead of its time in that respect (they carried the same system over into the MGF) You can lower the car by draining fluid out of the system, though I wouldn't bother 'cos it ruins the ride, and because it's a metro. DaveSupTT
Ah right. Well i plan on doing NOTHING to this car, and hopefully have nothing to fix on it at all! Trouble free miles i want hahaha (do u get that with any car?)
michael
They have a tendency to just lower themselves over time too, that's why you see a few old dears in lowriders
carl0s
Out of all the cars you could have bought for a few hundred quid, why did you pick a metro?

gordy07
If it saves you a few quid mate then good on you just wear a balaclava whilst driving it so no one recognises you!
ufop
see alot of the 1st gen priuses about for £3 to £4 K on autotrader some pretty low miles on them too I think that might make a good pratical run about/commuter car but dont know much about them and they arent the nicest thing to look at especially when you look at the 2nd gen prius but cheap tax :-)
