Was your wiring left out for all to see? It took a Clifford installer a good half an hour to work out where mine went. He said that it was definitely done by someone who didn't want the wiring tampered with. Personally, I reckon they bolted when they saw the Lambo doors. Even scumbags have standards these days! I was asleep at 4 in the morning! they had enough time to try switch off the alarm which is what i think they were up to. Its sad to think you find this amusing! You gave the impression in your post that you were visiting, not sleeping which I why I thought it strange that you took so long to get to the car. I'm still interested to know how they got to your wiring. Did they rip the dash or centre console out? Was the wiring visible or easily accessible? If so, then I'd get it refitted. No point on paying for the best and then having a sloppy install. I used to worry about my Supra all the time even though I live in a very well-to-do area that it pretty quiet all the time. I used to worry about even though it had three immobilisers, Blackjax and window and tilt/tow sensors, bonnet sensors and a back-up alarm (which I didn't even know was in there until I'd had the car for two years) so yeah I did used to worry about it.
