Yes and no, I'd rather have a brand new UK/US pump, but thats just me, at 125quid a pop(thats U.S prices) their more than double the expense of a brand new UK spec walbro(from Heckler or me anyway:p)

In normal terms they are pretty much the same though, I've just never heard of a stock one go that was installed properly, whereas I've heard of Walbro's go, but then there are a LOT of fakes going around on fleabay and such its hard to tell if these ones were genuine or not. There are a lot of bodged single installs in these pumps so their bound to have more problems(installation e.t.c) due to them being more widely used

If you have one then no point in changing - at a push the fuel pump filter but it shouldnt really be needed

If you have not modified the car in anyway with an engine management unit or the like then dont worry yourself with the AFR's, the stock ecu is just fine at controlling that;)

Well you have UK spec tubbies so your well within your rights to run up to 1.2-3 bar, anything over wont make much of a difference, your injectors(550's I expect) should hold assuming everything is in top condition, wouldnt worry about afr the stock ecu will see you right

I'm assuming you have an FCD?
