p3te
If you have a UK car, they slot right in, I have two aswell;) ah so these have the same type of connections as well? are these just as gd as the uk spec pump
bolarbag
Yes and no, I'd rather have a brand new UK/US pump, but thats just me, at 125quid a pop(thats U.S prices) their more than double the expense of a brand new UK spec walbro(from Heckler or me anyway:p) In normal terms they are pretty much the same though, I've just never heard of a stock one go that was installed properly, whereas I've heard of Walbro's go, but then there are a LOT of fakes going around on fleabay and such its hard to tell if these ones were genuine or not. There are a lot of bodged single installs in these pumps so their bound to have more problems(installation e.t.c) due to them being more widely used
p3te
hmm i dunno weather to change it or not my car has 57k on the clock and if it is the standard one which it probably is it might be worth it, i dunno weather to get a AFR Gauge as well
bolarbag
If you have one then no point in changing - at a push the fuel pump filter but it shouldnt really be needed If you have not modified the car in anyway with an engine management unit or the like then dont worry yourself with the AFR's, the stock ecu is just fine at controlling that;)
p3te
ah ok just im gonna be installing a boost controller and raising the boost and dont want it to run lean
bolarbag
Well you have UK spec tubbies so your well within your rights to run up to 1.2-3 bar, anything over wont make much of a difference, your injectors(550's I expect) should hold assuming everything is in top condition, wouldnt worry about afr the stock ecu will see you right I'm assuming you have an FCD?
