SILKYSMOOTH
Well as the title reads I started a blinding job this week that pays really well and is a stone throw away from home. So close that I could walk there in my sleep. Last Friday night went to bed about 3am and had 2 hours sleep then got up to go to Heathrow Airport, I arrived back at home by 9.00am and was completely shattered and could bearly see straight. I decided to make something to eat for breakfast so I wouldn't fall asleep and while I was having a bite too eat I thought I would look at some job vacancies. Anyway the 1st and only job I found/applied for was really appealing so called the employer and they then requested my details, 5 minutes later after sending an email, I had an interview confrimed for 11.45am. I was told that I would have to undertake a test and that it was imperitive that I passed it and that this would strongly affect the decision. This was very nerving news as I had no sleep and could not even focus properly, but with a little PMA (Positive Mental Attitude) I went and done the test and had a formal interview. Hoping that things went well, I walked back home and by the time I got out of my threads I get a phone call. The interview was very successful and "Can you start on Monday".........HELL YEAH It was completely unexpected, I did not even plan to apply for any jobs it just happened with just a little action. Hours our fantastic, Money is Great, No expenses AT ALL, and I can even walk home for lunch and put my feet up. Not to mention an early finish on a Friday.....plus it's exactly the right line of work that I need to progress further, and the people are really nice (1st impressions) am I still dreaming or what? Spelling grammar and the ability to submit a proper cv were obviously not part of the job requirement that or you posted after your 24 hour shift. My Gawd I need to apply for a promotion:)

dangerous brain
Evidently so. Hence why my current boss spent years being our squadron "f*ckwit". Also the reason why I am now spending a couple of weeks off work to see how he explains the reason why his aircraft is late instead of blaming it on me Oh he can't spell or use a grammatical checker either
