Got home from work today to find that some little scrote had broken into my garage where the supra is kept, car was untouched thank god, nothing stolen at all, lucky really as the car was open as i had taken the battery out to charge it.

They have chipped a bit of paint off the rear spoiler as they have forced the garage door open.

Think i may of got away quite lightly!

i've pulled the garage door back into shape and made a removeable security bar that runs across the bottom of the door out of stainless steel with a close shackle stainless padlock, they have no hope, ive bolted the fixing brackets through the frame with coach bolts.

they would have to pull the whole frame out with a truck!

Or cut the padlocks. Sorry, there is only so many security measures we can take.

Hopefully it was just chavvy scum trying to get your car and not people who know what they are doing. If its the latter there aint nothing you can do. People can steal any car they like, anything in fact, if they set their mind to it.

i had a similar device on there to that, they left the padlock alone and cut through the mild steel plate bracket to get the door open, the padlock was still locked!

the garablock mk5 would take so long to cut through, they would get caught or give up, think it is the third item down on the link :)

you cant cut the padlock as i have made it impossible to get bolt croppers on it plus it is stainless, you would have to use an angle grinder,

To an amature yes. To someone who knows what they are doing they could do it in minutes, if not seconds.

Again, i'm sounding negative. I'm not trying to be i just want you to be realistic.

Did you have any tools in the garage? I've had a garage broken into in the past: I had the supe in there but nothing else. No damage was done, no attempt to nick the car. Most of the time it's chavs and other scum who are after an easy nick. These people aren't *usually* interested in a car with a Cat1 alarm.

i think they must have thought this car will be alarmed to the max, i had tools in the garage, nothin was stole

cat 1 alarm

sounds like they must of been scared away then, little ****s.

we had a load of stuff nicked from the old garage once including, my large collection of boxed models, tools etc.

best deterant is wait in the garage then cut there hands off!
