MaveriK
And as a change for me its not the supra to the back of a tow truck. Date is set for the 11th October with a naming ceremony for Alannah (our nipper) right after the service. Fingers crossed for a good day both people and weather wise. Anyone know someone in our area that supplies wedding cakes as the price of them has come as a bit of a shock!

Charlotte
Congratulations. I have no idea on the cake business, if it was my wedding I'd ask for the guests to bring home made cakes - that would be fun.

tbourner
We did it in May as well. For cake, we bought a cake stand off eBay (still got it), bought a plain round iced cake from Asda, bought a cake topper from eBay, and filled the lower tiers with 80-odd smart price fairy cakes. We also got some tubs of icing and did the fairy cakes in different colours. Total cost: £72 I think. We didn't think to ask Sheena though!
