L33 Posted May 27, 2008 Share Posted May 27, 2008 a friend of mine asked me to ask you guys for some help. he has a N/A supra and he said his vss speed sensor has gone? says the car is stalling and wont keep its idol. he went to toyota but havent got a sensor listed under that name, so needs to know where this sensor is located so they can find out what its really called and get him one! i dont have a clue wtf he is on about thought u lot would tho! Stevo Posted May 27, 2008 Share Posted May 27, 2008 Don't know what the VSS Speed Sensor is but is he certain that is the cause? I would try the simple option of cleaning the throttle body first before splashing out on new parts - you never know. Could also perhaps be a dodgy ICV?
