far Posted May 25, 2008 Share Posted May 25, 2008 ... just looking into reviews comparing the two and it is suggested that PS3 games tend to come out much later than XBOX games as the ps3 tends to be more difficult to program for. In my view if you have a PC that plays games get a PS3 as MS want to push vista so all 360 games come out on PC where as PS3 games only come out on PS3. They also generally look identical and where they dont you can normally adjust TV settings to get them to look the same as me and a mate found out you wont go wrong with either unless your after the exclusives (i.e GT5) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The xbox is much smoother online, can chat to mates whilst playing different games, cross gaeme invitation and other features. GT5 only on PS3 and the xbox requires you to buy a wireless dongle for it to be wireless. I think you ideally need to find someone with each console and have a go. The fact that it has real exclusive titles (360 titles always hit PC once MS want more cash). Also the system seems to be built a hell of a lot better. For example knock your 360 over when your playing your favourate game and the disk drive will scratch the disk to buggery! Also last month the PS3 matched 360 in terms of sales. First of all you need to spend close to a £1000 to get to a high enough spec PC and have some technical knowledge to get it on your TV and looking correct. Consoles are plug and play. the xbox has scratched one of my discs luckerly gamestation do a polishing sservice specifically because of this.
