George Street has nice bars and clubs - expensive and posh Rose Street and the Grass Market have Pubs... well they are pubs cant say much more. This has died down a lot and not been much trouble in years - was a doorman on Lothian road for about 3 years. East end of princess street is the ruffer part of town now. Revolution I think is still there I knew it as Centuary 2000. Strip bar for me when out on a stag do or similar was the Fantasy Bar top of Lothian road. jevansio Posted May 19, 2008 Author Share Posted May 19, 2008 Boy am I rough today 3 of us went up Friday & met another 3 mates up there, had a mint Friday night round the Grassmarket, went in a couple of titty bars, ended up a nightclub (can't remember it's name), got kicked out around 3 for being too drunk. Saturday we were joined by another 5 of our mates, 2 of them were steaming by 11 and got us barred out of every pub. In the end I just called it a night & went back to the hotel, we spent about an hour walking round trying to get into different pubs with no luck. Then spent all day yesterday in the club, I need a week off work to recover. All in all, Friday was the best night even though there were only a few of us.
