colsoop
My folks are away so i am dog sitting. I took the dog to the park today, walking along listening to my music enjoying the rare bit of sun we are having at the moment. I see some yoof strutting coming the other way, then his dog does a turd on the grass, he doesn't attempt to pick it up so i say to him "are you going to pick that up" he mumbles something and then carries on walking to which i replied "tw*t" This gets a response and he struts over to me and squares up to me I said kids play in this park to which he replies "but not round here" I calmly reach in to my pocket and hand him a poop bag and tell him to "clean up his s*it" After a bit of posturing he eventually goes and picks it up and walks off with the goodies in a bag. As he is walking off he says "are you happy now" Other peoiple were around but did nothing, are people too frightened to say something for fear of reprisals ? It really annoys me that people will let their dogs s*it anywhere and not have a care. Kids play in that park. Is anybody responsible for anything anymore ? michael
Pfft, a bit of poo would do them good, help them build up a better immune system. (But I do agree with you, it's a bit antisocial) What really annoys me about dog owners is when they have them off the lead next to the road or on those really long extending ones but with enough freedom to take off in front of a car. SMiFFAD
are people too frightened to say something for fear of reprisals ? Yes.... especially with yoooofs, who appear untouchable by anyone and have little or no respect for anything/one. Most people assume they will be stabbed for asking anyone under 25 for directions... Good on you though, its whats needed, a few people to tip the balance again - should have rubbed his nose in it

Havard
I'm surpised he didn't put one on you Col. Standards are at an all time low and the youngsters seem to think that the world belongs to them and they can do what the fook they like...... I commend you on your actions but I have seen too many stories where people have been beaten/stabbed in similar circumstances...... At the end of the day, if your dog takes a dump then you should be willing to clean it up. I am slightly guilty of this as I take my dog into the farmers fields at the back of my house and if the dog kacks in the long grass then I don't bother. If I was in a park or near houses then I take a bag with me. H.

Max Headroom
We are living in an age where it is all about "me!me!me!" with no consideration for the other person. This is just a sad inditement of the type of society we now live in.

Gazboy
It's a £1000 fine here if you don't pick it up, not only that but I've seen people virtually outcaste for not doing their bit. The only rant I have against dog owners are the owners of rats on a string who think it's funny or cute that their dog acts aggresively to bigger dogs, oh and randy buggers on a mission to save the species too. Neither are funny.
