Aero-M
just when i think its running right! went out for a nice drive today in my n/a with the roof off, filled her half up and did the usual non start thing once, it was running really well for a long time then as i pulled out from a slip road and put my foot down it wouldn't do anything other than stay at the current speed of about 80ish. then i suppose half a mile and all the power came back ( well all the power a n/a can have i know). i pulled of at the next slip road and everytime i was coming to and stopping the revs would dip to the point it nearly cut out did this a few times then the last time i got a bit of a pop and was fine for the rest of the drive?? any help i would be very gratefull

Ian C
Running hugely rich due to an airflow signal issue, I'd say. It can stall the engine when dropping to an idle and make it feel very flat. Check the hose feeding your MAP sensor, and the wiring to the MAF if you have one. -Ian

Hermit
Sorry, no, but if you search the forum for throttle position sensor (or TPS) you'll probably find something.
