private plate question

im having an argument with some dude on another forum about plates. i know you cant make the car appear younger so a plate like T111 PER cant go on an R reg car but what about T25 PER??

the guy is saying that the T25 PER plate isnt classed as a T reg (due to having only 2 numbers) so can go on any vehicle. whos right?

It can only be registered as an 'R' reg or older (towards 'A' etc). Its got nothing to do with the combination of letters and numbers etc.

my L33 plate cant go on my supra cuz its a early 93 which is a K, i wish he was right but he aint!

L33 ? on its own ? Just L33 ? That would be fine as it was first issued prior to 1932, in Glamorgan actually.
