adi2009
Just completed my T61 single conversion, my specs are as follows: Stock 2jzgte block Emanage Ultimate Power Enterprise 650cc injectors Precision T61 turbo AEM Wideband As soon as I fired up the engine the car started fine but obviously running pig rich. I then changed the global injector adj. map to 650cc/ 0.0 lag and the car ran a little less rich but still hovering around the 10.1 range. Soon after the engine just kinda died and refuses to start after that. It just keeps cranking over without life. Have I flooded my engine??? I thought the global I/J adjustmet should get the 650cc idling like stock??? Any help would be great Cheers adi
Wez
Possibly fouled the plugs with too much fuel. Who are you going to get to map it for you?
Chris Wilson
Why oh why do people insist on starting engines that need mapping? They shouldn't be run at all until they are fully instrumented up, on a dyno, with a competent mapper on hand from the first time the plugs spark. You can *ugger a fresh engine up in 10 minutes if you are unlucky.

Tricky-Ricky
One thing thats being overlooked is if the engine is started from cold then the temp compensation map is active, and i have found on the TT engine its a little on the over rich side, mine was starting and idling at around 10 AFR for the first few minutes, that why i have taken out a fair bit of fuel using the temp compensation map on the emanage, it now starts and idles at a sensible 12AFR when first started. Chris Wilson
Personally I would start off mega weak and add fuel until it just fires and runs. So long as it's only idling it won't do harm, great gobs of fuel down new bores and pistons will though.
