vvteye
Is that the one original and one fibreglass? Have you seen the crack in the one of the skirts he has for sale
dannysupratt
No they are both original skirts think the spats are one of each though. That crack is easy repairable if you going to have them sprayed anyway
vvteye
They don't look that cool attached to a shed though

vvteye
bollox. I tried to snipe the ebay ones which were lying around on £132 with a £200 bid (bearing in mind one was cracked) and lost Guess it's going to have to be FG unless I can find some patience. Ooops the missus is coming in .... maybe next year then
imi
Question - What material is better, firberglass or the polyurethane? I drive my car in london and these skirts can get damaged by the massive speedbumps.....so i would like a material that is easily fixed. To me genuine OEM or replicas dont make a difference as long as the fitting is right.

To me genuine OEM or replicas dont make a difference as long as the fitting is right. I think you're more likely to completely destroy the glass fibre ones than the original plastic ones. The plastic ones would crack locally if you say, hit a kerb with them, which would be potentially repairable.
vvteye
The FG ones from carmadstyling (ebay) are apparently an excellent fit and at around £75 a piece may end up worth replacing rather than fixing. It's just that I'm desperate to keep the car externals stock/oem.
