Chris Wilson
I have now started making an AP lightweight vented disc kit on hard anodized alloy bells for the MKIV fitted with UK front calipers. It is available as either a fixed or floating disc set up, and will have a substantial weight and inertia saving on the stock one piece UK disc. Pricing will be finalised in about 6 weeks time, Wes is having the first pair. As floating discs ABOUT £700 a pair, cheaper as fixed discs. Floating discs are hard core race parts, that make noise and require maintenance! If people are interested and want more info please E-MAIL or phone me. Thanks. JamieP
Reduced weight, (we all know unsprung weight is the best to lose) better heat dispersion being ali bell;)
paul mac
Reduced weight, (we all know unsprung weight is the best to lose) better heat dispersion being ali bell;) and more importantly allows some movement/compliance to reduce the risk of the disk distorting or cracking due to heat, the bigger the disk the more important this becomes
