The barriers to the main carpark don't open until 8am, which means only about 40 spaces are available (inc normal public). I'll try and contact the site manager over the weekend and see if we can get the security firm to open the barriers to the main carpark earlier. lui Posted May 3, 2008 Author Share Posted May 3, 2008 As you all know our aim is to get going at 7am I will be leading the convoy there is a small trip of 1.5 miles back onto the M4 then 55 miles of M4 all the way to junction 17 where we come off then around 5 miles to Castle Combe. On the M4 I shall be going at speeds of around 70-80 MPH leading the front & homer Darryl keeping in touch with me via 2 way radio staying at the back & letting us know all in tack main thing is not to over take me the leader I would imagine that there will be 60+ supra's attending this & with a mixture of all ages so let's have a great convoy & at almost be safe as I would also imagine there will be loads of !!! I spoke to the manager of the MacDonalds resturant this evening who said there should be no problem with us meeting up there provided we're customers... (I know I will be ) There is about 40 spaces at MacDonalds and about 35 at Pizza hut/KFC the other side of the mini-roundabout (only about 50 feet away). The tricky part will be leaving, due to the lights we won't all be able to get to the M4 in one group so Lui will lead and I'll be at the back. We'll regroup once we're on the M4. That's right i will be keeping a a certain pace till all of us are confirmed being all together on the M4 due to the 1.5 mile trip from Reading meet to M4 there are about 3 roundabouts & couple sets of lights & I doubt all of us will make it straight through all in one hit so I will be keeping a certain pace till confirmed by Homer who will be leading at the back that all together on M4 then will always be leading whole of M4 so no over taking me & I will be doing speeds of around 70-80 MPH Cheers Lui Edited May 7, 2008 by lui (see edit history) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
