NSX

Great handling, great engine, great car

Viper

Great if you want to die in a fiery death in the first ditch it finds.

Drive a Viper and you'll understand what I mean, they are very unsophisticated and badly put together.

Facelift NSX for me everytime. They say its the ONLY true Jap supercar. I think its stunning looks and great handling etc will win it over for me. I also think it would have a better street cred than the Viper;)

Is that not an NSX-T?

Dunno if I'd want that. Just a hard top for me.

Well I loved the t-bar on the MR2 when I had it and I kinda miss being able to take the roof off the supe on sunny days.

Knowing my luck they will only do a Targa in Auto!

Hmmm, normally I would slate the Honda, but American car's are tacky overweight heaps of junk - even if they do have a lamborghini-developed V10 engine. NSX all the way!

Gaz how much would it cost to get an NSX to 450-500bhp? I know its a bit of a "how long is a bit of string question" but in terms of £2k-4k 4-6k 6k+?

Erm an awful lot mate. They are expensive to modify thats for sure. A Supercharger kit is £9k. ITB's are £6k. Engine build parts from some of more exotic companies (Jun/Toda etc) are many thousands. Esprit do a ECU and Throttle body/induction kit upgrade for just over £2k.

truck engine isn't it?

Yep was just "bigger" V8 basically.

Gaz.

The engine is based on the Dodge Ram V10, but for the Viper Lamborghini redeveloped it and had it made from alloy rather than cast iron as in the Ram
